I earned my Bachelor's in Graphic Design from Universidad de Bogotá Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Colombia in 2010, graduating with a GPA of 3.38. During my studies, I honed my skills in visual communication, branding, and digital design.

Over the years, I’ve built a strong foundation in design, front-end development, and emerging AI technologies through various courses and certifications. My expertise spans UI/UX design, prototyping, and web development with tools like Figma, HTML, and CSS. I’ve also explored AI-generated imagery with Midjourney, 3D modeling with SketchUp, and responsive web design principles. Additionally, my background includes specialized training in editorial and illustrated book design, enriching my creative approach.

Project Management, User Experience Design, and Brand Marketing form the foundation of my expertise, complemented by a strong focus on Design Management, Art Direction, and Photography. My skill set includes Logo Design, Design Layout, Wireframing, and Prototyping, allowing me to craft seamless Website and App Prototypes with a pixel-perfect approach. I have experience in App Planning, Responsive Web Design (RWD), and Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, ensuring accessibility and 508 compliance. Technically, I am proficient in CSS and HTML, alongside the Adobe Creative Suite, Animation, Motion Graphics, and Video & Photo Editing, including Retouching. May 2022 - Present - United States. As the Lead Brand Designer for the marketing team’s Creative Services division, I deliver high-impact designs that help our clients send compelling email messages. Over the past few years, my role has expanded to include client-facing marketing, project management in Jira, email marketing and design, social media management, and reporting. I also manage the team's project workload, coordinate efforts, and organize files and documentation to keep the department running smoothly.

April 2017 - April 2022 - Alexandria, VA. As the Creative Services lead, I delivered impactful designs and managed client marketing, project management, and social media. My role expanded to include onboarding new team members, where I successfully hired three top performers who later became full-time. Whether it’s creating campaigns, managing projects, or building a team, I consistently deliver strong results.

April 2015 - April 2017 - Manassas, Virginia. I'm a problem solver across multiple platforms, with expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, DreamWeaver) and working knowledge of After Effects (with a knack for animation), HTML, prototyping tools, and CSS. I honed these skills during my years as a freelancer and integrated them with marketing experience for brands across Colombia and the US.

November 2014 - March 2015 – USA. As the Interactive Art Director for a startup in Herndon, VA, I created digital solutions for diverse clients in the DC metro area and across the United States. I provided feedback and developed strategies for social media campaigns and interactive tools, including software services and large-scale web projects. This role was in a fast-paced environment with Agile Development Methodology in place.

September 2013 - September 2014 - Colombia. As a Senior Web Designer, I specialized in Responsive Web Design (RWD), intranets, animation, social media management and design, landing pages, apps, branding, and CMS (Content Management System) UX/UI for platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal.

September 2012 - September 2013 – Colombia. As a Senior Web Designer, I handled ATL and BTL campaigns, as well as B2B and B2C projects. I specialized in responsive web design, intranets, and animation. I also managed social media and design, created landing pages and apps, and worked on branding and CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal, with a focus on UX/UI.

April 2011 - March 2012 - Colombia. As a Graphic Designer, I worked on branding, packaging design, and website design. I created animations and ad designs, developed mockups and prototypes, and handled B2B, B2C, BTL, and ATL design. I was also involved in copywriting.
